Welcome to TeachKit, a platform owned and operated by Makeable Brand LLC, located in Boise, Idaho. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TeachKit platform, including the creation and enrollment in free online courses. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.


1. Platform Overview


TeachKit is a free online course platform that allows users to create an account which serves as both a teacher and a student account. Teachers can create free courses, embed videos, provide instructions/assignments, and optionally tag enrollees in their Kit accounts.

9. Indemnification


You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Makeable Brand LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to TeachKit; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any content you create, upload, or distribute through the platform; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or property right.


10. Refund Policy


TeachKit Refunds (for Teachers):


If you purchase a paid plan on TeachKit and are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your original purchase date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing via our support contact form or email. After 30 days, all payments are considered final and non-refundable. This policy applies only to subscription fees paid directly to TeachKit.


Student Purchases (via Teachers):


All student purchases are processed through each teacher’s connected Stripe account. Because teachers are the direct sellers of their courses, they are solely responsible for setting and managing their own refund policies for students. TeachKit does not handle or mediate student refunds. Any refund requests from students must be directed to the individual teacher who sold the course.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Boise, Idaho.
